Directed by Charlie Kaufman
Not my first stroll through Kaufman's surreal mind and definitely won't be my last after this film. After seeing Synecdoche, I had a little idea of what I was going to get with this film, but that still didn't prepare me for what was to come. Straight off the bat, the film caught my attention and mesmerized me with it's beautiful and surreal narrative and scenery. Despite feeling kind of lost after the film, after careful analysis and a 2nd re-watch, I fell in love with this film. This film is not for everyone, and Kaufman's films can be rather pretentious for some, or genius for others.
