Based on the manga series of the same name, Oldboy follows the story of Oh Dae-Su who is seeking answers after being kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years. The film is truly a treat from it’s powerful performances, to it's great and quite philosophical screenplay. The beautiful cinematography by Chung Chung-hoon, is highlighted through the film's unique neo-noir style and action sequences which are both brutal and brilliantly choreographed. Park Chan-wook’s Oldboy is a powerful, yet bizarre story of revenge, love, and acceptance, one that will keep you thinking long after the credits have rolled.
