Directed by Alfonso Cuarón
I have no words. I have been pushing this film back for so long, but I finally had the chance to see it today, and it was definitely worth all the praise it deserved. The plot is original and frightening, and the realism of the world glooms with the depressing and heartbreaking sequences. The performances were great and the direction was outstanding. Emmanuel Lubezki, take a bow. The cinematography was nothing short of perfection, with great long takes and tracking shots, immersing us into the real-time horrors of the film's setting.
My rating: 10/10
