C.T- Recommended #38: Goodfellas (1990)

The plot narrates the rise and fall of mob associate Henry Hill and his friends and family from 1955 to 1980.

It's a good old gangster film directed by Martin Scorsese, what is there more to say? Well other than it's absolutely perfect. The direction, the chemistry between the cast especially Pesci, De Niro, and Liotta, everything is just masterful. The writing is really well done, and is clever, with great attention to detail, as well as really memorable dialogue. It's funny, it's entertaining, it's got great cinematography, and a great soundtrack. Trust me, apart from the Godfather films, there are no other gangster films like this one, and once you see Goodfellas, you'll be binge watching gangster films like it's nothing.
