The plot follows the surviving members of the Avengers, as they work to reverse the damage caused by Thanos in Infinity War.

Well here it is. After one year of anticipation, 21 films, 11 years of memories. This is the end, and I thought it was fantastic. It's taken me more than a week to try and process the film, and how to write this review. Well here is my review of Avengers: Endgame.

Not to go deep into the plot and keeping this review kind of spoiler free, The plot was pretty cliche and ridiculed with plot holes, but in doing so, still packs a punch and entertains it's audience. I feel I am going easy on Avengers. As an avid film watcher, I did spot the flaws, but I cannot deny the film's entertainment throughout. Little bit of a spoiler alert here so skip the underlined sentence, if you have not seen the film.

The time travel concept can be debated, but I quite liked it. Yeah it's not scientifically accurate, but neither are most films, so yeah. Oh yeah, love it's reference to Back to The Future too.

The film does it's best way to end the Infinity Saga, by visiting certain films. This brought back nostalgic memories, and creatively boosted the plot forward. Joe and Anthony Russo brilliantly directed this film, with passion, love, and emotion, all those that you will feel throughout the duration of the film. The performances were great from everyone. I also loved the references to other films such as The Big Lebowski. I also loved the attention to detail it had, and those who have seen all 21 films, will love the details it showcases.

The cinematography was alright for the most part and there were some really beautiful shots. The music was done brilliantly again by Alan Silvestri, who's made the Avengers theme catchy and unforgettable. Now to pacing. Yes, its 3 hours long, but I have to admit the film did well with it's pacing, as it follows a structure that felt really smooth.

As I mentioned before, I noticed these flaws. But for this film, I decided to ignore them, as it did not hurt my expectations of the film, as well as not hinder my enjoyment of the film.

In conclusion, a fantastic, entertaining, and emotional conclusion to the Infinity Saga, one that will make you feel all kinds of emotions, but definitely one of satisfaction. I recommend this film if you haven't seen it already (who am I kidding, you all saw it already), especially if you decide to ignore it's flaws.

My rating: 9.0/10
